If you want to get into a friendly chat about the work of pioneering architect Marion Mahony Griffin as part of our inaugural exhibit here at the IAF gallery space then this is the club for you. Join us for a bookclub event surrounded by the work and life of Mahony Griffin.
Our curatorial residents Brian and Sarah will discuss some shared texts with the group.
Prior to the bookclub short excerpts from Marion Mahony Griffin’s ‘The Magic of America’ will be distributed along with concise examples of the secondary literature on her. Tea and biscuits will be served around the table within the exhibition place as the readings are discussed.
This event is in conjunction with the Marion Mahony Griffin: Discuss exhibition from July 5 and the Marion Mahony Griffin: Symposium on July 5 at NMI.
